Surprise! It's not a print after all...
We often hear stories of a family that discovered they had an antique treasure or a famous painting in their house without even knowing it. On July 25th, Artnet News reported that a long-lost painting by Norman Rockwell had been discovered by Heritage Auctions in Texas. A family, who believed it was just a signed print, brought the piece to Heritage Auctions for inspection to find out that it was actually an oil on paper study with an estimated value of $300,000.
